Six members of the Warcraft movie cast have been revealed.
No specific roles were listed in the announcement but Universal Pictures did share the following list of actors who will be starring in the film:
Ben Foster from 3:10 to Yuma and Rob Kazinsky from True Blood will be starring in the film, as well as Toby Kebbell (War Horse), Dominic Cooper (Mamma Mia!) and Paula Patton (Precious). Travis Fimmel from the TV series Vikings will also play a part in the upcoming movie.
Irish actor Colin Farrell had been rumoured to have been offered a role but wasn’t mentioned in the Warcraft press release.
The film, that’s based on the hugely popular video game of the same name, is to be directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code), who has played every game.
The movie will be a mixture of live-action and CGI and is expected to be released in 2016.
