Coronation Street bosses have today confirmed reports that one character is headed back to the famous cobbles.
Jenny Bradley, played by Sally Ann Matthews, is making her return to Weatherfield.
Show runner Stuart Blackburn confirmed the news today.
The character first appeared in the long-running soap in the late 80s and early 1990s, when she was fostered by Rita Faiclough.
She returned after a long absence in February of this year, forming a relationship with Kevin Webster before becoming obsessed with his son Jack and abducting the child.
She was last seen on screen on June 15th, as she was arrested by Manchester police.
At the time, actress Matthews said: “I know there are stories for Jenny.
“I don’t know what they are and I don’t know when they will be, but you haven’t necessarily seen the last of Jenny Bradley.”
