Coleen Rooney stunned after campmate makes Wagatha Christie joke just seconds after arriving

This series has welcomed names such as Danny Jones from McFly, GK Barry and of course Coleen Rooney.

Wife of former Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney, Coleen, has been the centre of public attention in recent years.

This comes following on from the high-profile libel bout between Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy, wife of former England and current Leicester striker, Jamie Vardy.

The saga culminated in 2022 in court.

For her detective work in figuring out that it was Rebekah Vardy leaking her private stories, Rooney earned the moniker 'Wagatha Christie' which has since stuck.

Entering the jungle, Rooney was sure to make vintage telly, and long time presenters Ant and Dec did pull any punches, leaving fans stunned.

Many fans feared that the show would not be able to poke fun at the court case that captivated a nation.

However, this was not the case, as Dec dived straight into the boxing ring of banter throwing a brutal jab minutes into the episode.

"It will be nice for her to face a trial that doesn’t involve Rebekah Vardy," he said.

Fans rushed to X to give their thoughts on the joke as well as the latest series with many praising the show for its strong start.
