Christine and Frank Lampard announce they’re expecting their first child together

Congratulations are in order.

Christine Lampard has revealed that she is expecting her first child with her husband, Frank. The Loose Women host took to Instagram today to share the good news with fans, saying:

“The Lampard family are expanding! I feel SO excited, nervous and grateful! “The list of emotions is endless!”

Christine posted a regram of husband, Frank’s post to update his followers which was captioned:

“We have some exciting news we wanted to share with you. The Lampard family is growing! “My gorgeous wife Christine is pregnant and we all couldn’t be happier.”

This is baby number one for the couple who have spoken before about their desire to have a child together. Earlier this year, Christine revealed that she was open to having her own children, saying:

“If it happens, of course, it will be wonderful. If not, we have the two girls and one is about to embark on her teenage years so that is a whole other chapter about to happen.”

Frank is already dad to his two daughters Luna, 12, and Isla, ten, from his previous relationship with Elen Rivas which ended in 2009. Christine and Frank began dating that same year and were married in December of 2015.
