Chris Hughes tried to hit out at ex Olivia Attwood but got absolutely ROASTED

Awkward.

Olivia Attwood has returned to our screens for this series of Celebs Go Dating and boy, have we missed her. Yes, the stand-out star of last year's Love Island is back with her usual sarcastic humour and no-BS attitude and we are delighted. And as Olivia tries to find herself a new man on the new season of the E4 show, drama between her and her Love Island ex Chris Hughes seems to have kicked off again. Chris took to Twitter last week to show support for friend Sam Bird after he and his villa GF Georgia Steel called it quits due to texts he found on her phone to an ex. Chris tweeted:

"Deja vu... smile on mate. See you tomorrow."

Many assumed Chris' tweet was a dig at ex-girlfriend Olivia who was reported to have been texting with multiple ex-boyfriends including Muggy Mike while still with Chris. Olivia, naturally, hit back at Chris' comment but he wasn't taking it lying down.

“Hard to work out… so my ex has made digs at me every month since we split; I say ONE thing supporting a friend and I’m bitter apparently," Chris questioned before going on to sarcastically plug Olivia's show. “Anyway, Celebs Go Dating on at 9pm. Tune in.”

But for those of you who've seen Olivia in action, you'll know she wasn't about to let Chris have the last laugh. Taking to Twitter just a couple of hours later, Olivia said:

“Christina Hughes, you use my name to promote/bring press to every mind-numbing thing you do. You should know by now that I will always clap back. “Now stop being bitter.”

But it was her next tweet that was the classic Olivia Attwood roast.

“Also, thanks for the Celebs Go Dating shout out too. Very big of you when everyone knows you were in that office the day before me, asking for the job.”
