Cheryl marks Girls Aloud’s 15th birthday with pic with ‘best friends’

It’s been how long?

Yes, it’s been 15 years since one of our favourite girl groups of all time was formed and today they’re marking the occasion with their fans. Undoubtedly the most successful member of the group, Cheryl, took to Instagram earlier today to celebrate the bands 15^th birthday with a sweet snap to talk about just how far they’ve all come.

“Sitting here drinking coffee with these two and watching babies 15 years later,” she captioned the picture of herself alongside her best friends and fellow bandmates, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.

“Crazy how time flies… 15 years ago today some of the best, craziest years of my life were just beginning. “I had no idea what a life journey I was starting out on. We had some of the most amazing times of our lives and made some incredible pop moments to put the cherry on top. “In the end, I left with these two amazing, inspiring, gorgeous souls and the best friends anyone could ever ask for. I will never be able to thank you enough for the support, love and loyalty you brought to our group.”

While the other two members of the group weren’t pictured, Cheryl did make sure to mention Nadine Coyle and Sarah Harding in her post, tagging the girls at the end. Nicola and Kimberley shared Cheryl's picture on their own social profiles with their own messages.

“It’s crazy to think that 15 years ago today we were getting ready for our last live show on TV before the public decided who they wanted to make up Girls Aloud,” Nicola said.

Kimberley added, “So proud of us and all we’ve achieved.”
