We’re not too sure either.
We’ve been hearing about a possible Charmed reboot for a long time now. Fans have been crying out for the show to return ever since it was cancelled in 2006.
Some of the main actresses involved in the show, Alyssa Milano and Shannen Doherty, have even said in the past that they would be up for playing the roles again.

However earlier in the year, Alyssa, who played Phoebe, broke fans hearts when she said that the show might be coming back but with new actresses.
Turns out she was right. It’s just been confirmed that a script is underway with the writers of Jane the Virgin. The one thing people didn’t expect is that it’s going to be a prequel set in 1976 with new witches.
This news has not gone down well with fans.
