Chandler Bing has officially been crowned the best Friends character

We knew it.

Lockdown has given a lot of classic shows a new lease of life and popular 90s TV show Friends is no exception. 2020 has given the show a whole new collection of fans and of course the age of old question emerges, who is the best Friends character? Well when it comes to the answer of that question there are actually official results. The best Friends character of all time, drum roll please, ba dum tish, bada bing - is Chandler! Yes, according to a poll taken by Ranker, Chandler Bing is everyone's all time favourite Friends character and we completely agree. Out of the male Friends characters in the poll Chandler, played by Matthew Perry, was voted as the fan favourite character with a huge 10,368 votes, closely followed by Joey Tribbiani (played by Matt LeBlanc) in second place and Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) in third place. The female characters of the show didn't do so well in the poll coming in at fifth, sixth and seventh place (Mike came in as fourth favourite). Personally I find those results questionable as anyone who thinks Ross is a better character than any of the girls really needs to re-watch the show. Chandler on the other hand I will admit is my favourite and the favourite of most people I know as he's the most relatable of the characters, especially if you're Irish, we live on sarcasm. Some other honorable mentions in the poll included Ross and Monica's Dad, Jack Geller, who came in eighth, Janice and her memorable laugh who made it to number nine on the list, while our favourite platinum blonde Gunther, was voted our 10th favourite Friends character. Still could Chandler be winning this Friends poll anymore than he already is?
