CBB viewers weren’t pleased with Katie Price’s dig at India last night

"The LGBT… you know I just think they need to respect it a bit more."

Anyone who tuned in to Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side last night might have been left a little confused by a comment made by panellist Katie Price. She and other guests Paul Danan, Emma Willis and Lady C were discussing the fact that Love Island star Jonny Mitchell and broadcaster India Willoughby are up for eviction from the house this week. Katie admitted that if she were in the house, she'd have nominated India for eviction. "I’m just sick to death of her talking about… well India and Jonny are up, she needs to learn how to use a johnny for once," she said. The 'joke' was met with silence and a single cheer from an audience member. "Sorry about that. Honestly I’m just bored of hearing it all. The LGBT… you know I just think they need to respect it a bit more," she continued vaguely. Lots of viewers were baffled as to what Katie's comment actually meant.

But others found her dig at India, who is transgender, pretty low.

Katie Price, no matter how much times you say over and over you "aren't" this or that. Time and time again you have proved you are.

Whatever Katie meant, claiming LGBT people need to be more respectful while also making a joke at a trans person's expense is fairly hypocritical if nothing else.
