With the highly anticipated release of season 3 on Netflix earlier this month, everyone is back on the Sex Education buzz. What better way to celebrate than spending a weekend in Otis and Jean’s beautiful hillside house?
Officially known as ‘The Chalet’, the stunning house has become almost as popular as the show itself, and luckily for fans, it’s available for short-term lets through a private website.

The 100-year-old Norwegian house is situated near the small village of Symonds Nat Rock in the Wye Valley in Herefordshire, just a few miles from the Welsh border.
Nestled amongst the Forest of Dean, it’s the perfect place to make the most of nature, with cycling trails and walking spots nearby that take you through the picturesque countryside.
According to its website, there are plenty of places to sit outside and take in the magnificent views. There’s also a stunning conservatory filled with plants, a sun deck, a private cinema room and even a pizza oven. But perhaps the most recognisable part of the house is the back porch overlooking the valley, where Otis is often filmed having his breakfast.
The “cosy and characterful” house sleeps up to 10 people in five gorgeous bedrooms – one twin and four doubles.
There’ll be no Otis-style parties, however, as the owner – Stuart Morgan – is strict about who the house is rented to.
Speaking to Insider, he said: “We have very good neighbours who we don’t want to disturb, and yes, absolutely we are going to be very careful with who we invite to stay there and set certain parameters about behaviour.”
Be warned, the chalet is not cheap and due to high demand, availability is low. The earliest availability is in November and a 4-day stay costs £2,995 (€3507) for 10 people.
