We want it.
Some love them, some hate them, but at Her.ie, we adore a good GIF.
Whether it’s Father Ted or Ed Westwick, GIFs can explain the point you’re trying to make without having to use words.
That’s why we were so delighted to find out that this camera can actually print out your moving images.
One Reddit user, Abhishek Singh, designed the apt technology, and The Verge explains that all he wanted to do was hold a GIF in his hands.
According to the publication, Abhishek designed the device using the original Polaroid OneStep camera, and then added in a very special feature at the bottom.
Instead of printing out a photo, the camera ejects a small LCD screen which has your GIF recorded onto it.
Pretty cool, if you ask us.
Named the InstaGif, it took Abhishek one month to design and build it from start to finish.
The ejected GIF is played on a loop until you’re ready to record a new one.
Abhishek was very kind as well, and published the code of the camera, and how to make the device here.
