Binky Felstead and JP Patterson announce split 15 months after birth of daughter India

Binky Felstead and JP Patterson have announced that they have split in a joint statement released on Instagram a short while ago. Taking to Instagram, the pair told followers they wanted to share the news before “things got twisted by hearsay or speculation”.

“It is with a heavy heart we have to tell you that we have decided to separate as a couple,” read their statement. “We are still a family and India is, and will always be the absolute light of our lives, however, we have realised we are on very different paths at the moment. "Although we still adore each other, we need to give each other the space to grow.”

The pair welcomed their daughter India 15 months ago and say they will move forward continuing to be the best parents they can be for their little girl.

“There are no secrets and no one has been hurt in any way," they added. "We now move forward with love, friendship and a deep respect for one another and the family we are 110 percent committed to.”

The pair finished by revealing they had made the decision some time ago but felt they were now in a healthy enough place to share the news with followers but said they would not be commenting on the issue any further.
