Lili Reinhart has landed the lead role in the film version of Ali Hazelwood's biggest novel
One of the most loved books that completely took over BookTok is being made into a movie, and Lili Reinhart has scored the leading role.
The former Riverdale actress will star in the film version of Ali Hazelwood's The Love Hypothesis.

Not only is Reinhart the film's leading lady, but she will also work as executive producer.
Rom-com fans will be thrilled to know that Claire Scanlon, who directed Set It Up, will also direct The Love Hypothesis.
The script has been written by Sarah Rothschild, and Elizabeth Cantillon will produce.
Author Ali Hazelwood will also work as executive producer.
Speaking about the project, the best-selling writer said it is a total dream come true for her.
"Honestly, I still can’t believe this is happening? Elizabeth Cantillon, Claire Scanlon, and Lili Reinhart have all created, produced, or starred in works that I’m absolutely feral about.
"I am beyond honored that they’re choosing to bring their talent to this project.
"Books and films are very different media, and I have complete trust in this brilliant team. I cannot wait to see the final product they’ll come up with. I hope they have as much fun filming as I had while writing the book."
What is The Love Hypothesis about?
With 750,000 copies sold worldwide, there's no doubt fans of the novel will be glued to the movie.
But what is The Love Hypothesis actually about?
As a third-year Ph.D. candidate, Olive Smith doesn't believe in lasting romantic relationships—but her best friend does, and that's what got her into this situation. Convincing Anh that Olive is dating and well on her way to a happily ever after was always going to take more than hand-wavy Jedi mind tricks: Scientists require proof. So, like any self-respecting biologist, Olive panics and kisses the first man she sees.
That man is none other than Adam Carlsen, a young hotshot professor—and well-known ass. Which is why Olive is positively floored when Stanford's reigning lab tyrant agrees to keep her charade a secret and be her fake boyfriend. And when a big science conference goes haywire, putting Olive's career on the Bunsen burner, Adam surprises her again with his unyielding support and even more unyielding. . . six-pack abs.
Suddenly their little experiment feels dangerously close to combustion. And Olive discovers that the only thing more complicated than a hypothesis on love is putting her own heart under the microscope.
A release date hasn't been confirmed, so you'll have plenty of time to read the novel before the movie's release.
