Bella Heathcote to star in Netflix’s adaptation of Karin Slaughter’s Pieces of Her

Bella Heathcote and Toni Collette have been cast in Netflix's adaptation of Karin Slaughter's Pieces of Her.

"In a sleepy Georgia town, a random act of violence sets off an unexpected chain of events for 30-year-old Andy Oliver and her mother Laura," the description for the series reads. "Desperate for answers, Andy embarks on a dangerous journey across America, drawing her towards the dark, hidden heart of her family." No release date has been set yet for the limited series.

Homeland's Charlotte Stoudt will write the scripts for the series and will serve as showrunner, while Downton Abbey's will direct the eight-episode series.
