BBC Boss Hints at Five More Series of Poldark

The drama, starring Aidan Turner, has been a huge success

Fans of Poldark will be happy to hear that the show is likely to continue past its confirmed second series.

The BBC’s drama chief Ben Stephenson, who is set to leave the broadcaster this year, has hinted that there will be five more seasons of the show.

During a recent interview with Radio Times, he said that he “firmly believes” that all of Winston Graham’s 12 novels will be adapted for the small screen.

Poldark, starring Aidan Turner, has been a huge success for the BBC. The series one finale was watched by almost six million people.
