The shade.

Remember Barb from Stranger Things?

If you don’t frequent the internet, you probably don’t because online is where Barb thrived.

She became a symbol of hope, a mascot for the underdog, a figurehead for anyone and anything who ever deserved better.

On the show, however, she had about two minutes of screen time, got eaten by a monster, dragged to the Upsidedown, and killed.

Tragic.

Still, fans remained hopeful that Barb would be returning for the show’s second season.

And seeing as it’s just been released today, they’ll finally get to know if their beloved bespectacled Barb is returning.

Regardless, the actress who plays Barb, Shannon Purser, has said that she won’t be binging the new season of the show today.

Most notably, because she’s just too busy.

Purser appeared on Good Morning Britain today where she declared: “I don’t know if I have the time, I’m quite busy today.”

However, she did say that once she got home she’d probably sit around for an entire day and just watch the whole series in one go.

“I know when I get home I’m sure I will watch the whole thing.

“That’s what I did when the first season came out.”

Us too Barb, us too.

Purser’s time on Stranger Things may have been short-lived but her fame has not been so.

She’s now in Netflix’s Riverdale as Ethal Muggs – so if you’re missing your regular Barb fix, fear no more.

She was also nominated for a literal Emmy this year for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.

Fair play, Barb.
