Ant McPartlin WILL appear on this weekend’s airing of Saturday Night Takeaway

And while Ant McPartlin enters rehab following his arrest for drink-driving, producers of his hit Saturday Night Takeaway have decided that the TV presenter will nevertheless feature on this weekend's show. The broadcast is the penultimate in the series and ITV has said it will allow pre-recorded material to be included. "Show bosses had been weighing up whether to scrap the big budget series called Saturday Knight Takeaway altogether," reports Sun.co.uk. It has allegedly been acknowledged by the station that the move could spark considerable backlash from fans. An insider explained to The Sun’s Bizarre column: "After a lot of soul searching it was decided that the final two episodes should run because viewers have loved the series and want to find out the conclusion in the final two episodes." A final decision on who will line-up alongside Dec Donnelly in Florida for the final show on April 7 is expected by Tuesday. Also expected to appear in the finale are Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis, as well as regulars Scarlett Moffatt and Stephen Mulhern. The news all comes after ITV confirmed Ant would be stepping away from the show to return to treatment for alcohol and drug addiction after he was arrested for drink-driving last week.
