Another Strictly romance? Apparently one couple have ‘obvious chemistry’ already

The first rumoured romance of the series.

Thanks to things like the infamous ‘Strictly curse’, eyes are always firmly fixed on the pairings on the show to see if any of the couples are more than just dance partners. Yes, over the years, there has been plenty of romance on Strictly Come Dancing and while this year’s pairings were only just announced over the weekend, there’s one couple in particular that apparently have “obvious chemistry”. Former Strictly pro Brendan Cole took to his Hello magazine column this week to say there’s one couple he thinks we should keep our eyes on.

“I think the couple to watch this year will be Karen Clifton and Charles Venn. "Is he single? Because the chemistry is obvious! “He has the perfect partner in the show in Karen as what she delivers is amazing.”

However, that’s not the only couple Brendan thinks could hit it off. Before the show, former Blue singer Lee Ryan said that he is open to finding love and was hopeful producers would pair him with Nadiya Bychkova. Well, producers listened and delivered, and now Brendan thinks there could be sparks.

“I also love Lee and Nadiya. As soon as Lee was announced I thought he would get Nadiya. It’s headline gold! “He’s single and tall and she’s the hot blonde on the show. "She’s also an incredible dancer, if not one of the best dancers and best teachers, and I have a feeling he will go far.”
