Anna Wintour has been editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine since 1988, and today her services to fashion and journalism have been recognised by the Queen.

The British/American editor who is well known for her straight-laced and no-nonsense approach to work, was all smiles today as she accepted the honour and celebrated with friends and family.
Her younger brother Patrick Wintour, himself a journalist and editor, was clearly feeling proud tweeting a picture praising his big sis;
