Model and actress Erica Heynatz is set to join the Home and Away cast.
Erika, who previously hosted Australian’s Next Top Model, is to play a school teacher on the long-running soap.
Speaking to the The Daily Telegraph, she revealed that family members have been helping her prep for the new role.
“I am filming my first scene next week and I will be playing a school teacher.
“My mum is a teacher and my mother-in-law is a school teacher and a principal, so with any luck they can give me some tips” said the star.
The personality is excited about appearing in Home and Away
Erika is definitely excited about her new role adding that it is a “huge achievement”.
“My main goal is to flourish in this role and have the best experience ever, and whatever happens after that, you can’t control that.”
The actress has appeared in a number of TV projects and she won Australian celebrity singing contest It Takes Two in 2006.
