Have you ever imagined what it would have been like had 10 Things I Hate About You been set in Ireland? We have and let’s just say, we reckon we’d be hard-pushed to find anyone who we only hated 10 things about. (Jokes, we don’t hate anyone, we prefer the term dislike.)

1. If there’s one thing we take seriously, it’s health and safety.

2. We wouldn’t even say this sarcastically.

3. If we saw these smooth moves on this side of the Atlantic, we’d probably be dreaming.

4. We’re the ones that cry…

… and we cry like this. (So this scene would still be in there.)

5. He would already have been bitch-slapped.

6. We’re not stupid enough to stand there and have this happen.

7. Not going to lie, this is a little creepy.

8. Want forgiveness? It has to be chocolate.

9. Tank tops. Just, no.

10. We’re mainly underwhelmed. It’s because of our high expectations.

11. Every day is Asshole Day.

12. Irish (unromantic) translation: “You’re alright.”
