Zac Efron just dyed his hair and he does NOT look like Ted Bundy anymore

Zac Efron has debuted a new hair style and it's safe to say he no longer looks anything like the notorious serial killer Ted Bundy.

Zac plays Bundy in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, a biopic that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this weekend. The 31-year-old has made headlines over the past year for his resemblance to the American murderer on the set. Now with his hair platinum blonde, he looks worlds apart from Bundy. To be fair, we can't blame Zac from wanting to distance himself from the character. Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile is a thriller about Bundy, who was responsible for the murder and rape of at least 30 women. The film tells the tale of Bundy's horrific crimes from the perspective of his girlfriend, Elizabeth Kloepfer, who's played by Lily Collins. John Malkovich also stars in the film playing the role of Edward Coward, the judge who oversaw Bundy's televised trial and sentenced him to death in 1979. After much anticipation the film's trailer was released this week - but it hasn't gone over well with everyone. Many film fans took to Twitter in anger, claiming that the promotional video was too light-hearted and that it glorified or even sexualised the film's subject.
