Good news of a Monday.
Zac Efron has said that he "bounced back quickly"after falling ill during an adventure shoot in Papua New Guinea.
The
Baywatch star reassured fans that he was indeed fine following reports that he had contracted some sort of infection while filming overseas.
The actor had to be airlifted to Brisbane to receive medical attention on Saturday.
"Very thankful to everyone who has reached out," he wrote on Instagram.
"I did get sick in Papua New Guinea but I bounced back quick and finished an amazing 3 weeks in P.N.G.
"I’m home for the holidays with my friends and family. Thanks for all the love and concern, see you in 2020!"
Great to hear it, etc.

According to
The Sunday Telegraph, Zac was flown from Papua New Guinea Australia to receive urgent medical attention after contracting some "form of typhoid or similar bacterial infection."
Dr Glenn McKay, Director of Medical Rescue,
told the publication that his organisation "retrieved a US citizen in his 30s from PNG to Brisbane for medical attention in Australia."
Last month, Zac announced that he would be starring in and producing his own adventure series called
Killing Zac Efron.
The show will focus on the actor venturing "deep into the jungles of a remote, dangerous island to carve his own name in expedition history."
Best of luck, sure.
