And Irish model and mum-of-three Yvonne Keating said she was near to tears as her eldest son Jack started secondary school yesterday.
Yvonne is dating cameraman John Conroy after splitting with Boyzone singer Ronan Keating, 35, last year.
She admitted she was emotional as her 13-year-old son reached the milestone.
“Seems like yesterday Jack started primary school,” the 38-year-old tweeted.
“Today with a lump in my throat, I dropped him to secondary school.”
Westlife’s Nicky Byrne’s wife, Georgina, replied to Yvonne, saying she hoped he was happy with his first day at school.
Yvonne seemed happy with Jack’s first day and told Georgina she’s looking forward to seeing her own two boys in their new uniforms. Georgina and Nicky’s twin boys, Rocco and Jay, start primary school this September.
Yvonne and Ronan’s son, Jack, looks set to follow in his dad’s singing footsteps as he appeared on stage with his guitar to accompany Ronan at a fundraiser in London last year.
Jack’s younger sister, Marie, 11, looks set for the limelight too, landing the lead role in the film ‘Dark Touch’.
Ronan and Yvonne also have a younger daughter, six-year-old Ali.
