It looks like Harry and Meghan just shared their final Instagram post on the Sussex Royal account.
As fans of the couple will know, they officially step down as senior royals this week and so, their social media activity appears to have been put on pause as a result.
A lengthy post issued this evening discusses how the world feels “exceptionally fragile” at the moment as the Covid-19 crisis wreaks havoc globally.
They maintain that health and wellbeing are more important than ever and they want to use this “new chapter to understand how we can best contribute” as people the world over struggle to find solutions to “the many issues that have presented themselves as a result of this pandemic”.
Harry and Meghan then take the opportunity to sign off, saying:
“While you may not see us here, the work continues. Thank you to this community – for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world. We look forward to reconnecting with you soon. You’ve been great!”
Comments on this particular post appear to have been turned off and it looks as though the same measure has been taken for previous photos shared to the account.
It’s believed that Harry and Meghan together with their son Archie recently relocated to Los Angeles, where Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, lives.
Initially, the Duke and Duchess had planned to live in Canada for some time but plans appear to have changed recently and they are now thought to be settling in California for the foreseeable future.
It was recently announced that Meghan is voicing a Disney documentary and according to reports, the couple will launch a not-for-profit organisation within the coming weeks.
