There we were thinking that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were going to name their child something like Kimye, Klarissa or Karina. Oh how wrong we were!
It seems that we may have been underestimating the couple somewhat as it has been revealed that the rapper wants to call their daughter North, as in North West, as in the direction on a compass.
Kanye and Kim might end up calling their daughter North.
According to The Sun the chart-topper is completely serious about the name although is aware that people might question his choice.
A source told the newspaper: “Kanye’s ego is something else, so he’s quite serious about the title.” (Oh we don’t doubt he is!)
They added: “He also has a sense of humour though and knows how his self-indulgence is seen by the general public. It’s half tongue-in-cheek, half what Kanye probably feels is true.”
Now we’re not ones to judge and yes Kanye should be able to call his child whatever he likes but we can’t quite believe Kim is going to let him go through with this. But then again, nothing really surprises us anymore when it comes to this pair!
