Xpose presenter Karen Koster has given birth to a baby boy this evening.
The TV3 presenter and husband John McGuire made the announcement on Twitter this evening, naming their new arrival Finn:
Finn McGuire arrived today New Year’s Eve 2014! That’s his minor career in Rugby & Gaelic ruined! Beautiful Mum and Finn absolutely great!

This is the first child for the couple, who wed in Italy last year after five years together.
Joining in the celebrations, fellow Xpose presenter Lisa Cannon rushed to congratulate the new parents on Twitter:
