The family home of X-Factor star Ella Henderson has been raided and her parents have been arrested on suspicion of money-laundering. Officers conducted a search on two houses in Lincolnshire which are apparently worth a total of £1 million pounds.
According to the Daily Mail, Michelle Henderson was arrested at the family home while Sean, Ella’s father, was arrested later in London by police officers.
Their daughter Ella, who was one of the stars of last year’s X-Factor, is currently living in London and working on her debut album. The 17-year-old was signed by Simon Cowell’s label Syco after she was voted off the show in a dramatic result against winner James Arthur.
A police spokeswoman has confirmed the arrests in Tetney, Lincolnshire, but has not confirmed the names of those arrested.
Neither Ella Henderson’s camp nor Syco Entertainment have commented on the arrests.
