They may well be getting married in a matter of weeks but it seems that it will be months before Chris O’Dowd and Dawn Porter jet off for their honeymoon.
The 32 year old Bridesmaids actor and his television presenter fiancée are set to walk down the aisle later this month but according to reports the honeymoon will have to be postponed.
Chris starred alongside Kristen Wiig in box office hit Bridesmaids.
Chris, who has a number of work commitments, told the Irish Daily Mirror, ‘We won’t be going on honeymoon immediately – I have got a couple of jobs so I think we are talking Christmas time before that can happen.’
However this is not putting a dampener on the occasion as Chris explained: ‘All is going well. We are on the home straight, I am very excited – anxious but feeling delighted too.’
Chris and Dawn are set to walk down the aisle later this month.
As yet no details have been divulged about the big day although the latest rumour is that the private ceremony may take place in Roscommon.
