We have to say that we commend Adele for having kept her son’s name a secret for so long but it does look as if she may have finally let it slip.
The singer has been snapped wearing a necklace spelling ‘Angelo’ suggesting that this is what she and Simon Konecki have called their son. Have to admit we wouldn’t have guessed (or chosen) that name in a month of Sundays!
Adele and Simon are yet to say what they have called their son.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “Those close to Adele have been told the baby is called Angelo. We’re not sure of the significance of the name.”
They added: “She’s wanted to keep it quiet but it was always going to come out sooner or later. Wearing an Angelo necklace not only backs up what is being said, it suggests she’s not worried about people finding out.”
The singer made her first public appearance since the birth at the Golden Globes.
The award-winning star was out shopping for her little boy, whom she recently revealed she calls Little Peanut, in LA when she was spotted wearing the necklace.
Adele herself is yet to confirm the rumours but until then we’ll be busy trying to figure out where, or who, the unusual name comes from.
