Sadly, her journey came to an end last week, as Gemma was booted off the show. And it seems as though her leaving has had a massive effect on ratings. According to reports, Gemma gave the 2019 series a massive boost as ratings soared to an average of more than 6.5 million every time she took to the ice. Since she left, the viewership has dropped by a massive 2.6 million. A source said: "This was always producers’ fears, that when Gemma went, interest would wane." In fact, some fans of the show even called for a boycott after Gemma left, branding the series as boring in her absence. Despite all this, Gemma Collins has been doing pretty okay following her exit from Dancing On Ice.  The Mirror reported that the GC is due to make a fortune from spin-off deals after the show raised her profile to new heights. She's even managed to save her clothing brand, which was struggling last year. Good news. An insider said: "Gemma is obviously very business-savvy and is keen to strike while the iron is hot." "It could end up being a huge step forward in her career." "She's been inundated with offers. Her market worth has shot up since she joined the show." Good for her.
