They might have thousands of teenage girls falling at their feet and the music charts under control but One Direction aren’t as clean-cut as they once were as it emerges they were pulled over by police.
According to reports, Louis Tomlinson got a telling off from authorities in America for standing up out of the sunroof of a moving vehicle in New York this week.
Cheeky chappy: Louis got a verbal slap on the wrist in New York this week.
But he didn’t get taken downtown or anything. Instead he just got a good telling off from the officers. Oh, the perks of being in one of the biggest boy bands in the world!
An insider told The Sun newspaper: “Louis and the lads are having a great time in the big Apple and want to capture every minute.
“Louis was only standing through the sunroof momentarily but it was long enough to catch the eye of the cops. He may have found it funny but motorists stuck in a traffic jam certainly didn’t.”
Niall and Louis posed for some photographs with the officers involved.
To say sorry Louis and band mate Niall Horan posed for snaps with the cops. Apparently the boys are filming scenes for their upcoming 3D film at the moment.
Wonder if they’ll be sending the officers a few free tickets for the premiere too?
