The ‘original warlock’ Charlie Sheen may be a tad bit crazy but underneath all his erratic behaviour, his heart is in the right place. Well, if this story is anything to go by.
Celebrity gossip website RadarOnline.com reports that Charlie has donated a whopping $10,000 to the family of a disabled teenager. Charlie gave Teagan Martis and her family the money, so Tegan can finally get the therapy dog that she desperately needs.
In 2010, Tegan fell 100 feet from a ride at an amusement park in Wisconsin. The teenager suffered severe injuries to her brain, spine, pelvis and her internal organs.
After her accident, Teagan was paralyzed for months and had no use of her arms or legs. She is now able to walk small distances with the help of a special walking fram, however her family have been left with financial woes in the years since Tegan had her accident. Their home is in foreclosure and the family was unable to afford Tegan’s recovery treatment.
Speaking about his act of kindness, Charlie said that he simply liked to pay things forward.
“People come into your orbit for a reason. You don’t always know what that is ahead of time, but if I ignore these requests then I don’t have any opportunity to see where these things lead us, or lead me,” he said.

Charlie learned about Teagan’s woes through his godfather, who is a family friend of a woman who previously held a fundraiser for Teagan’s family.
“I think he’s a very kind person for helping me and my family and very generous,” said Teagan, speaking about Charlie.
“I was crying… what a guy, what a guy,” she added.
Charlie stated that he hopes the family name Teagan’s new therapy dog after him.
