There’s just something about Gossip Girl bad boy Chuck Bass, isn’t there? And we have to admit, Ed Westwick, the man who plays him, isn’t too bad either.

Needless to say we were overjoyed when saw pictures of Ed making his runway debut at Milan’s latest spring/summer menswear catwalk shows (because in our view, life could always do with a little bit more of Chuck Bass).

Ed was taking part in Philipp Plein’s 2013 spring/summer menswear show and he strolled onto the runway in a bomber jacket for his opening look, before switching into a more Chuck-friendly blazer for his second outfit.

Chace Crawford, Ed’s Gossip Girl co-star, was also spotted enjoying some of the Milan menswear shows and, according to reports, he sat himself in the front row for Versace’s new collection.

There’s no denying that Ed makes a pretty handsome model. Here are five other actors who know how to strike a pose…

5. Jamie Bell: Earlier this year, Jamie Bell took to the catwalk alongside Gary Oldman, Adrian Brody and a host of other very famous men. Why? Well, he was helping Prada to showcase their autumn/winter 2012 looks at the Milan Men’s Fashion Week. Jamie looked a little bit awkward, but if anything that just made us like him more.

4. Ashton Kutcher: Before he was an actor, Ashton was a model. He actually participated in a modelling competition in 1998, but lost out to the ever-gorgeous Josh Duhamel (aka Mr Fergie). In his brief modelling career, Ashton appeared in adverts for Calvin Klein and Zoo York. He also modelled in Paris and Milan.

3. Josh Duhamel: Well, we couldn’t bring up his name and then not mention him, could we? Josh fended off Ashton to scoop the title of Male Model of the Year and started his career by appearing in a slew of music videos (do you remember him from Christina Augilera’s Genie in a Bottle?). All his modelling landed him an acting part in a US soap opera, the rest, as they say, is history.

2. Channing Tatum: Channing’s big break came when he was cast as a dancer in a Ricky Martin music video. After that he picked up modelling work for names such as Armani and Abercrombie and Fitch. Eventually Channing got the opportunity to model for Vogue magazine. Needless to say the modelling work increased and he soon found himself getting offered acting work. He claimed that modelling helped him to make sense of his life. Deep.

1. Ian Somerhalder: Ian started modelling at the tender age of ten and was pretty successful. He was seventeen when he decided that he wanted to become an actor. He has since gone on to star in TV shows, movies and he continues with the odd bit of modelling when he gets the opportunity to do so.
