She’s known for being feisty both on-and-off stage, but it seems that Pink has developed a much softer side since becoming a mother.
The singer stopped in her tracks – mid-song – during a concert at the Wells Fargo Centre in Philadelphia on Sunday night, when she spotted a small child becoming very distressed in the audience.
Asking her guitar player to stop, the mum-of-one directed her attention to the crowd and asked: “Is everything OK right here? Is this little girl all right? What’s going on? Why is she crying? Why is she upset?”
Concertgoers then informed the star that the girl had been crying because of an altercation that had errupted around her, which forced the singer to exclaim: “Because there was a fight? You all are fighting around a little girl? C’mon…all right, all right, I know, everyone’s about to fight. I know, I’m from here.”
Pink then offered the young fan a “Rice Krispie treat” to calm her down before lifting her up to the stage for a little cuddle… just like any Mammy would!
