What Sharon Osbourne said about her Brexit vote has p*ssed people off

Brexit.

As you’re probably aware, 52% of the UK population decided to leave the EU in June, with the result the source of much debate.

Sharon Osbourne is the latest famous face to have her say on the issue, and fans aren’t overly delighted by what she had to say.

Discussing Brexit, amongst other issues in a recent interview with The Times, Sharon explained why she cast a vote for the Leave side.

The X Factor judge said that she travels to the UK from her home in America regularly and finds things have become “congested”.

Sharon explained:

“I go back to England every four to six months and it’s becoming like Hong Kong – so overpopulated, so congested”.

The reality TV regular, who’s married to rocker Ozzy Osbourne, said that the “congestion” has put a strain on public services.

“There are too many people in a tiny country. There are classrooms of 40 kids, the NHS is in the toilet, the education system is in the toilet. I say take care of your own people first”.

“I don’t have anything against any religion or any person, but the country is overloaded.

Everybody loved England because we were unique. We had traditions, we had style”.

Needless to say, those on the ‘Remain’ side are raging over these comments, with some people airing their views on Twitter:
