Graham Norton apparently caused chaos in the BBC studios on Saturday morning when he failed to turn up to present his radio show on BBC Radio 2.
According to the Daily Mail, although Norton didn’t show up for his three-hour radio show, it seems he hadn’t informed TV bosses that he would be absent. Yesterday, a BBC spokesperson confirmed the presenter was ill.
His production crew and co-star Maria McErlane had to soldier on his absence for the duration of the programme with Maria declaring: “Fear not, Graham isn’t taking hormones. It’s Maria McErlane, his old mucker.”
Rumours began that Graham had disappeared up to Glastonbury or was attending Pride events but it seems he may have been hanging out with Nigella Lawson the night before at a party.
Norton was also spotted later that day walking his dogs.
