The Saturdays are already fairly big on this side of the pond, but now they’re hoping that their new reality TV show will catapult them into the realms of superstardom. In fact, the girls are hoping that a bit of stateside TV exposure will help them to become the female version of One Direction.

Tipperary-born Una Healy revealed that there new show will be called Chasing The Saturdays and will be broadcast on E! in the States from next January. Exciting stuff, right? We wonder if Una’s cute little daughter Aoife Belle will be making an appearance on the programme?

“We feel that the time is now – with One Direction and The Wanted, they came over here and popped,” said Una, speaking to the Irish Daily Star.

The programme is set to follow the band as they tackle life in Hollywood and start work on their new album. However, while the idea of filming a reality TV show is exciting, Una has revealed that living in Los Angeles, away from her new hubby who is living in the UK is slowly but surely starting to take its toll.

Una’s hubby Ben is currently in the UK with the couple’s daughter

“I am so over being apart from my husband that it is starting to consume me… literally,” said Una, earlier this week.

What do you think ladies? Will you be tuning in to watch Chasing The Saturdays when it starts?
