Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright have revealed their wedding plans in the countdown to their big day.
“This day will be how we always dreamt and hoped it would be,” Mark explained to Hello!
“We have both got our fairytale,” Michelle agreed, with the couple adding that they will not be getting married abroad despite all the rumours.
“For both of us it wouldn’t have felt right. That’s not like a real wedding in a church in the way our mums and dads got married and we want our families to be there.”
The former Coronation Street star revealed that she is getting her wedding dress specially made and also added that she will be changing her name.
“I couldn’t find one [a dress] that I really liked, so instead I took inspiration from various aspects of dresses I loved and it’s been made for me,” she explained.
“We will be Mr and Mrs Wright,” she said. “I may keep the name Keegan for work but for everything else in my life I will be Michelle Wright.”
Meanwhile, Mark admitted that he’s feeling the pressure ahead of the first dance after he finished fourth in last year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
“It’s even worse as people are now thinking, ‘Oh he’s going to be well good’. Everyone has high expectations now but it shouldn’t be a show dance.
“I want the music to come on, and it to be just Michelle and me,” he said.
