We thought Katie Holmes was going overboard with her Christmas spending but then Taylor Swift came along!
The singer is reportedly spending over €60,000 on her new squeeze Harry Styles who she has only been dating for a matter of weeks.
Harry will be one very cheery chappy this Christmas by the sound of it!
Yet again, our minds are boggling as to what on earth would cost that much… Perhaps it’s a private jet that only plays their songs? Or a trip around the world at the end of which they’ll be tying the knot during a lavish ceremony?
Actually it’s neither of those. According to the Daily Star Taylor is hoping to get her hands on some rare Beatles merchandise for her One Direction beau.
A source revealed: “Harry spent £900 on Taylor for her recent birthday and now she wants to repay the favour – and then some.”
This band are what Taylor is splashing her cash on.
“She’s been phoning Beatles stores in Liverpool hoping to find pieces of rare autographed memorabilia she knows Harry will love. A staff member at one store let slip she wanted to spend somewhere between £40,000 and £50,000,” they added.
And there we thought that we were pushing the boat out by almost reaching three figures!
