‘We almost lost her’: Jason Momoa tells emotional story about Emilia Clarke’s health scare

The two worked together in the first season of Game of Thrones.

Actor Jason Momoa has praised former co-star Emilia Clarke for speaking so openly about the two life-threatening aneurysms that she suffered while filming the earlier seasons of Game of Thrones. Clarke recently wrote about what happened to her, saying that she remembers "being convinced" that she wasn't going to survive. Jason Momoa played Clarke's on screen husband in Game of Thrones, and spoke about her bravery at Wednesday night's premiere of the show in New York. Speaking about Clarke's health scare, the actor told Entertainment Tonight:

"I've kind of been a part of that whole situation for a very long time, so we've had so many scares and trying to find the right way to come out and help. "I just think it's beautiful that... she's so brave in helping the world and trying to raise awareness."

He continued, "I'm very sad, because we almost lost her the first time. So, I love her to bits and she's here and she's going to do great things with it and teach the world."
