Prince William debuted a new look yesterday and people were shocked to see his newly-shaved head.
Now that we’re over the radical change somewhat, attention has turned to the price of the aforementioned haircut and you’ll want to brace yourself.
According to multiple reports, the Duke of Cambridge sought advice from his wife ‘s hairdresser with the Duchess of Cambridge a long-time fan of accomplished stylist Richard Ward.
It’s thought that Ward’s deputy stylist, Joey Wheeler visited Kensington Palace to tend to William’s hair and the price of this service is scandalous.
The buzzcut is said to have cost £180, which converts to €200 or thereabouts and unsurprisingly, the internet has a lot to say about this.
It’s thought that the astronomical price was partly due to the ‘scissor over hand’ technique which results in a softer finish than the standard pair of clippers normally used.
A source spoke to The Sun:
“Wills sought Richard’s advice, but it was Joey who was the one to visit the Palace and give him his new buzz cut”.
Needless to say, people are extremely critical after finding out the estimated price…
Prince William spending £180 on a hair cut… should’ve spent that money on something else, or given to someone who actually needs it.

The real news about Prince William’s haircut is that mine is virtually identical to his and cost £6.

I could have cut Prince William’s hair for a lot less than £180 #justsayin

£180 for a haircut! My husband gets a similar look from David for £8. The cost of being royal. #PrinceWilliam

Why did Prince William’s haircut allegedly cost £180? He hasn’t got much of it left to cut!
