A showbiz reporter has landed herself a clip in this month’s fail blogs after she attempted to high five TV star and designer Nicole Richie.
Cat Greenleaf of Talk Stoop in LA was enjoying the chats with Nicole when she made one of the worst off-the-cuff decisions of her career.
Because the fashionista and mum-of-two is currently starring in Great News on NBC, an exuberant Greenleaf asked Nicole about the best news she had heard all week.
“I live in LA and I heard it’s going to rain three times this week so that’s pretty….” Nicole started.
This is the moment Cat reaches in for a spirited high-five… accidentally smacking the star in the face and knocking off her sunnies.
The mortified reporter immediately apologised, explaining that she was notoriously clumsy.
“I can see that… out of my left eye,” replied Nicole.
