Joan Rivers is hardly known for her touching sentiment and warm words, but this is a new low for the Fashion Police presenter.
In the latest controversial video courtesy of the 81-year old, a reporter asks Rivers whether she thinks the US will ever see a gay president.
Her reply?
“We already have it with Obama, so let’s just calm down.”
And just in case there was any confusion that she was insulting both Barack Obama and his wife, Rivers added:
“You know Michelle is a tranny.”
Rivers has defended her comments as a joke.
She also happened to make the comments after being stopped following her duties officiating at a gay wedding.
