The world was shocked when Whitney Houston sadly passed away last February, however a private investigator is now claiming that the diva was murdered in her hotel room and did not die from natural causes, as was previously reported.

The Irish Daily Mirror reports that detective Paul Huebl is claiming that he has uncovered evidence, including CCTV footage, that points to murder. Mr Huebl believes that Whitney was attacked and murdered by two men who were sent to collect money from her.

According to reports, the troubled singer allegedly owed over €1million to notorious drug dealers before she died in Los Angeles back in February.

“I have evidence that points to Whitney being a victim of high-powered drug dealers who sent thugs to collect a huge debt she owed for drugs,” Mr Huebl claims in an interview with the National Enquirer.

Mr Huebl said that “classic defence wounds” were found on the singer’s body after her death and that two mystery men were seen trying to blend in with Whitney’s entourage at the hotel where she stayed before she died.

Mr Huebl said that he has lots of evidence that supports his case and that he will now hand it over to the FBI and have the case reopened so that justice can be done for Whitney and her family.
