Ladies, have you ever wanted to know what makes Michael Fassbender tick? Well brace yourselves, because unlike most men, it’s not delicious food or skimpy underwear (although we doubt he’d say no to either of those things, in fairness…)
If you should ever be lucky enough to find yourself in a position where you have to hold the Fassbender’s interest, you should start talking about metal music. Yes, as in, that screamy-shouty-noise you sometimes hear coming from someone’s headphones on the bus.
According to the Irish Independent the actor has revealed that he absolutely loves bands like Metallica and Slayer and that he used to be a bit of a rocker back in the good old days.
“When me and my friend Mike had a band I used to have hair down to my chest, ten-hole Dr Martens [shoes] and combat shorts cut at the knee,” The Fassbender said recently in an interview.
“My favourites were Metallica, Sepultura and anything off Slayer’s ‘Reign in Blood,’” he added.
Now call us crazy, but we imagine Metallica, Sepultura and Slayer are delighted to hear this. Mainly because it means that women across the globe will flock out and buy their albums in an attempt to increase their chances with the actor. (Eh…can someone cover for us while we go raid the nearest music shop? Anyone?)
So not only is he handsome, dashing, hilarious craic and devastatingly attractive, he also has that whole ‘bad boy’ rocker thing going on too. Oh Fassbender, how we love you…
“I loved the bit in ‘Seasons In The Abyss’ by Slayer, and I worked hard to learn Megadeath’s ‘Rust In Peace’ when I was younger,” Fassbender gushed.
However, Michael is aware of the fact that not everyone appreciates his passion for heavy mental.
“No one wants to hear Metallica at lunch,” he added.
Metallica at lunch? For you, Fassbender, we’d happily make an exception…
