The podcaster and TV presenter says her family have outgrown the €1,295,000 house in Howth, north Dublin.
Speaking to the Daily Mail this week, Vogue Williams said she feels “really sad” about selling the home that she renovated in Howth. She and her husband Spencer Matthews and their three children split their time between London and Dublin.
She said: “I kind of feel really sad about [selling] it, I suppose you’ll always feel like that but it’s such a beautiful house, it’s just slightly small as our kids are getting bigger, and our family is kind of expanding.”
“They came and put the “for sale” sign up this week, and I was like “I’m going to cry”, which is pathetic! It’s the place I go to relax and calm and chill, it’s something I’d always wanted to buy, it’s by the sea where I grew up. I’ll be really sad to see it go,” she admitted.
The reason she’s selling is that she already has her eye on another property nearby that will be the family’s ‘forever’ home.
On the topic of another new house, she said: “It’s where I grew up, it’s the only place I’d want to live in Dublin, it’s by the sea, and when you’re working all the time in London, it’s nice to go back there. It’s the kind of place that our family can just be in forever. I want the kids to spend holidays there and everything.”
When asked if a permanent move back to Ireland with kids, dogs, and husband in tow, she said: “You never know, one day we might move home, that’s the five-year plan, move back to Ireland – I’d be delighted.”
