She might still be in the honeymoon period with hubby Brian but it seems that there is no love lost between Vogue and a few of her fellow Twitter users!

Vogue McFadden has a lot to smile about what with her new hubby and her growing career down under but it didn’t sound like she was smiling a few hours ago when she was criticised for her appearance on The Saturday Night Show.

The former Fade Street star appeared on the RTÉ chat show on Saturday but has received a number of negative comments on Twitter about the interview.

Vogue spoke about hubby Brian and her career during the interview

One viewer said: “The Vogue Williams/McFadden interview on The Sat Night Show is the most awkward/worst thing I have ever seen [sic].”

Another added: “T’Was desperate awkward “What’s the point of @VogueWilliams”? shite! [sic].”

Vogue decided to defend herself by replying to the second comment: “cheers I’m glad you were able to make that assumption without knowing me at all, you seem like a “lovely” person! [sic].”

Vogue also stood up to someone who was criticising Brian’s parenting skills.

But that’s only the half of it as one ‘fan’ also made a comment about Brian’s parenting skills: “@VogueWilliams has brian finally decided to become a hands on dad then, and spend some quality time with kids, sorry cant stand absent dads [sic].”

The DJ and model hit back with: “well I can’t stand people who have opinions on things they know nothing about… mind your own business [sic].”

The person then apologised to which Vogue said: “but how do you know anything about his situation?you don’t so don’t judge unless you know all the facts… you have no idea how frustrating and hurtful it is [sic].”

Speaking about her wedding to the former Westlife singer on The Saturday Night Show, Vogue explained: “It was amazing. It was pretty depressing when it was over.”

She also revealed that she will be staying in Australia but would like to split her time between there and Ireland: “For now, yea. There’s so much work… If eventually I can come back here and do six months here and six months there, that would be great.”

While it’s not the first time the 26-year-old has been involved in a heated Twitter spat, we certainly respect her for standing up for herself and her other half.
