Amy Poehler was among the honorees at Variety‘s fifth annual Power of Women lunch where she spoke emotionally about her work with the Worldwide Orphans Foundation.
Poehler began to break down in tears as she spoke about the children in desperate need of help: “There are so many children in the world who have nothing,” she said.
“Who are we to be in this room and living this life without helping them?”
The actress has worked with the organisation for several years.
