Victoria Beckham Doesn’t Like Talking About Kinky Sex With Her Mammy (Eh…?)

Everyone is talking about Fifty Shades of Grey, but Posh Spice won't be having a chat about it with her Mammy. In fairness, we wouldn't want to chat to our own mammies about that either...

Her

Well ladies, it’s official. E.L James’ Fifty Shades of Grey has now gone and outsold J.K Rowling’s beloved Harry Potter series. Yes, we have no idea how it happened either, but we think it might have had something to do with all the kinky sex (in Fifty Shades, not Harry Potter…)

The Irish Daily Star reports that this makes E.L James the best-selling author of all time on Amazon – not bad for someone who began her career by writing smutty Twilight fan fiction on the internet, right?

And it’s safe to say that the hype surrounding Fifty Shades is pretty much unreal at this stage. In Ireland, they’re struggling to keep it on the shelves in bookshops and in America, certain regions have actually banned it.

Old women are reading it, young women are reading it – there’s probably a few curious men out there who are reading it – and, hilariously of all, celebrities are reading it too.

So who is the latest celeb to admit that she’s after getting hooked on the naughty novel? Well it’s none other than Victoria Beckham! We have to say we’re surprised, but hey, fair play to Posh for being so open about her love for the book.

In fact, the fashion designer has admitted that she’s already onto the second book in the Fifty Shades trilogy and she has even bought a copy of the book for her mammy. Such a good daughter, right?

However, Posh says that she absolutely hates talking to her Mam about the raunchy sex scenes in the novel.

“I bought mum the book. But every time she tries to engage in conversation about it, I dodge the subject,” said Victoria.

“I don’t really want to talk to my mother about S&M,” she added.

Fair enough, we can’t see ourselves having one of those conversations with our own mammies either like…

Speaking to the US edition of Glamour magazine, Victoria also joked about her reputation for not smiling during photo shoots by saying: “I stopped smiling when I got into fashion. Fashion stole my smile.”

Hmm fashion may have stolen her smile, but we wonder if she can keep a straight face when she’s reading Fifty Shades.

What do you think ladies? Would you ever buy your mammy a copy of the raunchy read?
